| Abstract | In this paper we use the 2007 Iraq Household Socio-Economic Survey to construct a monetary welfare indicator that will measure the living standards of Iraqi households. We devote special attention to the treatment of rations distributed by the Public Distribution System and to the estimation of the consumption flow from durable goods. |
