“Commuting: Os das Bandas” is the title of the curatorial project organized
between September 2015 and May 2016 and the main care-study of this report.
This project consisted of an Angolan contemporary art exhibition and it as a
parallel program the round-table “Angolan Contemporary Art — State of the
Art and Internationalization”.
The main objective of this academic-artistic project was to reflect on the
pendulary condition of a number of contemporary Angolan artists, through a
multidiscliplinar exhibition of visual and plastic arts realized in the Portuguese
territory.
This report is intended to report the experience of designing, building and
realizing this curatorial project and reflect on parallel aspects of the history of
art that contributed to the realization of it.
