BACKGROUD : High-risk pregnancy is one factor that can cause pregnant women experiencing obstetric complications. The level of knowledge of pregnant women about the high-risk pregnancy remains low in Banyumas district. This study aims to determine the information needs of high-risk pregnancy in pregnant women and health promotion strategies are most appropriate to received such information. METHODE : This study used qualitative approach. The informants are pregnant women amounted to 14 people. RESULT : The results showed that the informants need information about high-risk pregnancies, especially to prevent obstetric complications, hemorrhage and preeclampsia. Media campaigns are needed for pregnant women to received high-risk pregnancies information on leaflet. CONCLUSION : Health promotion media one form is leaflet. Leaflet contains information or messages of high-risk pregnancies and usefull to increase knowledge of pregnant women about the high-risk pregnancy and to prevent obstetric complications. |
