We are a group of four students from Oslo and Akershus University College of Applied
Sciences located in Oslo, Norway. During our first year in the bachelor degree in Development
studies we are required to do a minor field work focusing on challenges to development.
During five weeks we have conducted our research in Tsumeb and we have managed to collect
a lot of empirical data based on interviews and observations. Our project paper and this abstract
will consist of a presentation of our theoretical framework, our methods of data collection and a
presentation of our findings.
