Abstract
To respond to the problem of the study, the research first described the demographic profile of the respondents in Quezon City; then it determined the state of Youth Leader’s employment profile as well as established the status of Youth Leader’s Level of Involvement in terms of: (a) Conflict and (b) Peacebuilding. Lastly, it determined the relationship of employment with (a) Conflict and (b) Peacebuilding. The study applied the quantitative approach via descriptive method that includes the use of a survey questionnaire to achieve the research objectives. Eighty Filipino youth respondents from different Districts in Quezon City participated in the study by using census method. Frequency, Percentage distribution and Chi-square Test of Independence were used to derive results needed to complete the study. In the Philippines, particularly in Quezon City, the youths are more involved in peacebuilding rather than conflict. The researchers figured out that there is a significant relationship between past involvement in conflict and employment status, age along with gender and present engagement in conflict, plus, youth’s age and active participation in peacebuilding. Moreover, results show that awareness of respondents on the vocational training is high, however, only few respondents can attend.
