Abstract
This research paper examines the relationship among socio-economic/demographic factors and health status in the economically active population inJamaica. The analyses were done using the Jamaica Survey of Living Conditions (JSLC) datasets for 1996 and 2001. The analyses are based on logistic and multiple regressionsdone using the variables outlined in the research model.
