Abstract
Micro Small and Medium
Enterprises
(MSMEs) are major factor of growth for all developing countries. India
having 1.25 billion population need employment for public MSMEs provides job to millions of people and
these units produce entrepreneurs. The Micro Small and Medium
Enterprises
Act 2006
passed and it was
generated to boost the growth of MSMEs. MSMEs constitute one of the major parts of Indian economy and
emerged as dynamic and growing sector. Today this sector provides 45% gross value of output in
manufacturing sector. Near about 40% o
f exports of manufactured goods of country are exported from
production of MSMEs. This sector is at second number in terms of employability after agriculture. In spite of
all achievement this sector is facing so many problems because of these problems grow
th of this sector
being hampered. This paper is an attempt to examine contribution of Micro Small and Medium (MSMEs) in
the growth of Indian economy and to know about whether that growth is at satisfying position and if not
than what type of hurdles are th
