Abstract
This paper is a case study of growth, savings, and investment in Botswana - an exceptional African country. Botswana is exceptional, both within Africa and amongst less developed countries, as a whole, when comparison is made of macroeconomic performance, development management, and good governance. The country has developed an international reputation as a nation that stands out among developing countries, and in Africa in particular, for its generally successful economic management. In this paper, the analysis is centered on the record and policies related to growth, savings, and investment in Botswana and the empirical relationship stemming from that record.
