Abstract
The second paper "Spatial Wage Dependence and Disparities in Sri Lanka" is based on the results of the first paper. First, this study explores the existing nature of spatial disparities in Sri Lanka. Then, a spatial econometric analysis is performed using a spatial wage model on the dual labor market to understand the extent of the spatial disparities in Sri Lanka. A spatial analysis of wages in Sri Lanka allows understanding the exact non-spatial effect on wage. The study shows that there is an observable effect arising from urbanization on "Good" jobs and "Bad" jobs.
