The present work it is a master thesis, fruit of an empirical research developed in Angola,
whose object is levied on the research in education in Angola, aiming to assess effectively the
contribution of education to the national economic development. In view of strengthening the
theoretical-conceptual framework, we sought to undertake a profound reflection around three
key concepts: investment, education and economic development, in the context of whether to
have provided a better understanding of the object of study. The units of analysis will
demonstrate the variables more expressive, in relation to the reality of the educational setor
and dynamics of development by that has passed the country in order to measure the need for
investment in this key sector of the human being with regard to the context of constraints and
existing resources over the years.
