Abstract
New constitutions can be critical transformational tools for enhancing the welfare of marginalized populations in a country. This article discusses the opportunities and challenges that Kenya is likely to face as it transforms itself in the new constitutional dispensation. We pay specific attention to comparing how Kenya's new constitution protects the rights of vulnerable citizens.
