Abstract
This paper describes the tense system of the
Mugali and English languages. There are
differences in expression of the tense. Tense in
English is expressed lexically, morphologically
and analytically whereas it is expressed
morphologically. It also explores similarities and
differences between these languages and suggests
some pedagogical strategies.
