The survey was carried out in Tumbes, Piura, Chiclayo, Trujillo, Chimbote, Ica, Arequipa, Lima Metropolitana and Callao.\n\nThe first edition of the ENPOVE took place in 2018. During 2019 and 2020 the situation of the Venezuelan population in Peru has changed compared to the reality of the year 2018, due, among others, to changes in immigration regulations, as well as global phenomena. Therefore, it was necessary to have a second study to provide updated information on the Venezuelan population in Peru, to support decision-making public policy decisions based on solid and reliable data.\n\nThe survey provides information on the living conditions of the Venezuelan population residing in Peru, including: demographic and social aspects, immigration status, discrimination, violence, health, employment, education, access to basic services, housing and home equipment.\n\nThe information can be used by international organizations, researchers, and public policy makers to formulate actions, policies, plans, programs, and projects to meet the most urgent needs of this group. The World Bank, UNHCR, IOM, UNFPA and UNICEF provided technical and financial support to the survey.","coll_dates":[{"start":"2022-02-01","end":"2022-03-31","cycle":""}],"nation":[{"name":"Peru","abbreviation":"PER"}],"geog_coverage":"Tumbes, Piura, Chiclayo, Trujillo, Chimbote, Ica, Arequipa, Lima Metropolitana and Callao.","analysis_unit":"Household and individual","data_kind":"Sample survey data [ssd]","notes":"The scopeof the survey includes:\n- demographics\n- migratory situation\n- health\n- education\n- employment\n- discrimination and violence\n- gender relations\n- access to institutional help and participation in associations\n- housing and home equipment"},"method":{"data_collection":{"data_collectors":[{"name":"Instituto Nacional de Estad\u00edstica e Inform\u00e1tica","abbreviation":"INEI","affiliation":""}],"sampling_procedure":"The probabilistic sampling was stratified and independent for each city.
