Random numbers were generated using the software Statistical Package for Social Science version 20 (SPSS v20), and the pregnant women corresponding to the generated numbers were selected to be included in the study. \n\nFor the selection of non-pregnant women, data from Butajira Rural Health Program (BRHP) was used because it contained all the lists of households in the Meskan district in Butajira, and simple random sampling was then employed to identify the study participants.","coll_mode":["Face-to-face [f2f]"],"coll_situation":"For data collection, the 24-hour recall (24hR) method and the Food Frequency Questionnaire (FFQ) were used.
