La Peru 1991-1992 Encuesta Demografiga y de Salud Familiar (Endes 1991-92) es la secunda encuesta de este tipo llevado a cabo en Peru.

Para el cuestionario de hogares y el individual, la población en estudio está constituida por todos los hogares asentados en las viviendas particulares del pals y todas las mujeres entre 15 y 49 años, ast como todos sus hijos, con énfasis en los menores de 5 años. En el Estudio de Disponibilidad de Servicios, el universo estå conformado por los servicios de salud y planificación familiar cercanos a los segmentos seleccionados para la muestra de bogares.

Adicionalmente se contó con 5 supervisoras nacionales, del personal permanente del INEI, quienes hicieron un seguimiento del trabajo de cada equipo, desplazándose periodicamente a las regiones.
En la preparación del informe participaronlos responsables técnicos por parte de Macro Intemational y el director del Proyecto por parte del INEI. El informe fue realizado en la Sede de Macro Intemational en Columbia, Maryland, Estados Unidos de Norte América, lo que permití6 contar con la asesoría especializada de sus investigadores y las facilidades de cómputo para realizar corridas adicionales de los programas y asf entender mejor las relaciones entre las variables investigadas.
En general, los errores estandar son pequeflos y que por ello la muestra puede calificarse como bastante precisa; esto es especialmente claro en la antepenúltima columna donde aparecen los errores relativos. Nótese que los efectos del disel~o tienden a aumentar para las clasificaciones geográficas y a disminuir para clasificaciones que cruzan toda la muestra, como es la edad.
El propésito del presente ap¿ndice es proporcionar al usuario de los datos de la ENDES 1991-1992 una primera visión de la calidad de los mismos. En el Apéndice B del Informe Final se presentaron los resultados relacionados con los errores de muestreo. Los cuadros en este Apéndice están referidos más bien a posibles errores no muestrales: preferencia de dígitos y redondeo en la declaraci6n de edades o fechas; olvido de acontecimientos en el pasado; el esfuerzo deliberado de algunas entrevistadoras de distorsionar algunos datos con el objeto de aligerar la carga de trabajo; la falta de colaboración de algunas mujeres en facilitar cienos datos o su rechazo a la medición antropométrica, etc. A continuación se describe brevemente la magnitud de estos errores no muestrales.
