The Indonesian government has launched several large-scale anti-poverty program in recent years that have helped reduce poverty, such as cash transfer program (BLT) and the Conditional Cash Transfer (CCT) and the Health Insurance (Askeskin). Targeting improvements in these programs to ensure that program resources are limited in order to reach out to the poor rather than distributed to households afford, remains an ongoing challenge to ensure the efficiency of such programs.\n\nAnswering the need to improve the targeting of the results, the National Planning Agency (Bappenas) has asked the World Bank to provide technical assistance in learning how to plan a household targeting system better. research findings will lead the government's decision to develop new methods to identify poor households eligible to various assistance programs.
