The Public Opinion Research Group surveyed 29 countries in FY2012 (July 2011-June 2012) and 41 countries in FY2013 (July 2012-June 2013). In FY2014, surveys were conducted in 42 countries and in FY2015 - in 35 countries. Nearly all of the World Bank Group's client countries are surveyed in three year cycles. Sudan Central Sudan (Khartoum, Gezira, Sennar, Blue Nile, and White Nile States), Northern Sudan (Nile and Northern States), Eastern Sudan (Gedarif, Kassala, and Red Sea States) and Western Sudan (North Kordofan, West Kordofan, and South Kordofan States). Stakeholders in Sudan Opinion leaders from national and local governments, multilateral/bilateral agencies, media, academia, the private sector, and civil society. Sample survey data [ssd] HandH Consultancy From February to April 2015, 439 stakeholders of the World Bank Group in Sudan were invited to provide their opinions on the WBG’s assistance to the country by participating in a country survey. Participants in the survey were drawn from among the office of the President; the office of a Minister; the office of a Parliamentarian; employees of a ministry, ministerial department, or implementation agency; project management units (PMUs) overseeing implementation of a project or consultants/contractors working on World Bank Group-supported projects/programs; local government officials or staff; bilateral/multilateral agencies; private sector organizations; private foundations; the financial sector/private banks; NGOs/community-based organizations (CBOs); the media; independent government institutions; trade unions; faith-based groups; youth groups; academia/research institutes/think tanks; and the judiciary branch. A total of 273 stakeholders participated in the survey (62% response rate).
