The units of analysis are establishments or workplaces - a single location at which one or more employees work. The larger legal entity may include multiple establishments. The firms on the list will have been randomly chosen, with probability proportional to the number of employees in the firm. The universe of the study are non-government businesses registered with Kosovo Agency of Statistics (ASK) from 2015, and a complementary frame of Serb enterprises in Northern Kosovo which was obtained independently.
