Moreover, the HBS is the most appropriate source in order to:\n- Complete the available statistical data for the estimation of the total private consumption;\n- Study the households expenditures and their structure in relation to their income and other economic, social and demographic characteristics;\n- Analyze the changes in the living conditions of the households in comparison with the previous surveys;\n- Study the relationship between households purchases and receipts in kind;\n- Study low income limits in the different socio-economic categories and population groups;\n- Study the changes in the nutritional habits of the households.","coll_dates":[{"start":"2004","end":"2004","cycle":""}],"nation":[{"name":"Greece","abbreviation":"GRC"}],"geog_coverage":"National coverage","geog_unit":"Cities and settlements","analysis_unit":"- Households,\n- Individuals.","data_kind":"Sample survey data [ssd]","notes":"The scope of the study includes:\n\n- household composition;\n- members employment status;\n- living conditions; \n- members expenditure on goods and services;\n- household members income.","study_scope":"The scope of the study includes:\n\n- household composition;\n- members employment status;\n- living conditions; \n- members expenditure on goods and services;\n- household members income."},"method":{"data_collection":{"data_collectors":[{"name":"Greece Agency of Statistics","abbreviation":"","affiliation":""}],"frequency":"The frequency of data collection is continual spread within the reference year.","sampling_procedure":"The two-stage area stratified sampling was applied for the Household Budget Survey 2008.
