Labour Force Survey 2008

This data file contains information on absentees, section 7 (Absentees Information) of the survey questionnaire.

This data file contains information from identification section, section-1 (all), section-7 (question 111) and section-8 (question 122) of the survey questionnaire.

The identification section contains information from the cover page of the questionnaire.
The section-1 contains questions related to the household characteristics of the selected household and questions that determine whether the household own or operated any agricultural land.
Question 111 determines whether a household has any absentee member.
Question 122 determines whether a household has received remittance from any one other than the absentee member.

This data file needs to be merged with sample data file in order to obtain weighted estimates.

This data file contains individual information of the household members that have been collected in Household roster and section-2 to section-6 of the survey questionnaire. In other words the variables included in this data file are from q09 to q110 of the questionnaire.

This data file contains information on remittances, section 8 (Remittance Received from Other Sources) of the survey questionnaire.

This dataset contains area identifications and survey design information including household weight, stratum, and psu variables.
