Description This report is compiled on the basis of data gathered during the survey conducted in 2008/09. The survey gathered vital information on children encompassing diverse fields of their activity such as demography, economic activity, health and safety, housing and household characteristics and perception of parents / guardians and their bearing on child activity. Furthermore, the report provides information on Child population, Working children, Child labour and Hazardous forms of child labour in Sri Lanka, based on national definitions that are contained in the report.
