Description This report presents the results of the Tuvalu Household Income and Expenditure Survey 2010 (HIES), undertaken by the Central Statistics Division (CSD) during the period from 3 January 2009 to 12 June 2009. This is the third survey of its kind in Tuvalu and the last one was carried out in 2004/05. A report from that survey was produced in September 2006, and where possible, results from this report will be made to be comparable to the previous report.

This present report contains a summary of the major findings of the 2010 HIES, which it is hoped will be useful to planners, policy makers, donors, the general public and other interested users to make informed decisions based on findings provided in this report. The report is divided into four parts: background, summary of survey results, statistical tables, and appendices.
