Labor Force Survey [hh/lfs]
The Labour Force Sample Survey was first conducted in 1957. In 2006, significant methodological changes were introduced to the survey. Data collection for the Labour Force Sample Survey is carried out on a quarterly basis during the months of January, April, July and October.
The objectives of the survey are to measure the Egyptian civilian labour force, the level of employment and unemployment, and the geographic distribution of the employed and unemployed populations.
