Holding Identification Survey. Contents include: State, local govt. area, enumeration area, household number, serial no of this holding, master sample no, no of holders in the household, gender, age in years, highest level of education, relationship to head, no of person in the farming household, ownership of holding, export crops on the farm, location of crop holding, tenure status of holding, is the land rented, and type of agricultural system used by export farm.

Household Characteristics Survey. Contents include: Export crops on the farm, location of crop holding, tenure status of holding, is the land rented, and type of agricultural system used by export farm.

Source of Funds Survey. Contents include: Sources of funds for running agricultural export crop holdings and interest rate.

Cultivation Survey. Contents include: Types of crops grown and area cultivated (in local unit).

Production survey. Contents include: crop code, number in local units, weight in local units, and production in kilograms.

Farm Implements Survey. Contents include: farm implements used for ploughing, farm implements for harvesting, source for the ploughing implements, and transportation means used for produce.

Storage survey. Contents include: Storage for farm produce, methods for preserving commodities, source for obtaining storage and processing facilities, type of processing facilities, and number of farm workers.

Employment survey. Contents include: Number of paid workers (male and female), number of unpaid workers (male and female), total days worked per week, age of workers, and total wages paid per day.

Market channel survey. Contents include: Where farm products are sold.

Annual sales survey. Contents include: annual sales of export farm produce.

Farmgate prices survey. Contents include: farmgate sales quantity sold (in local unit), equivalent weight (in local units), total quantity sold in kg/litres, and local market value in Naira.

Open market survey. Contents include: Quantity sold in local unit, equivalent weight in local unit, total quantity sold, price per local unit, local market value, and price per kg.

Consumption survey. Contents include: Quantity consumed in local unit, equivalent weight in local unit, total quantity consumed, consumption price per local unit, and value consumed in standard weight.

Fertilizer survey. Contents include: use of fertilizer, number of farms using and not using fertilizer, number treated, number not treated, type of fertilizer, source of fertilizers, how far does you go to obtain the fertilizer, and reasons for not using fertilizer.

Type and Cost of Fertilizer survey. Contents include: quantity of fertilizer used in kilograms and cost of fertilizer in Naira.

Pesticide survey. Contents include: Use of pesticides/insecticides/herbicides, number of farms, number of farms treated, number of farms not treated, types pesticides/insecticides/herbicides, quantity used, cost in naira, sources of supply for pesticides/insecticides/herbicides, distance to obtain pesticides, and reasons for not using pesticides/insecticides/herbicides.

Use of Improved Seedling/Seed survey. Contents include: source of improved seedling/seed used, how far does the farmer go to obtain improved seedling/seed, and what is the reason for not using improved seedling/seed.

Use of Improved Seedling/Seed survey. Contents include: type of seedling/seed used, number of farms treated and not treated, and cost of seedling/seed.
