The purpose of the current investugation is exposing through analysis of training of the
floanting working class in El Triángulo sector, San Rafael, Los Chillos Valley, in
Pichincha province. The problem of precariousness of sub-employment and
unemployment efficulting a growing amount of construction workers was analyzed,
which causes difficlties to make their living. The floating working class is a part of the
reserve, which is represented by a scarcely known sector, construction. Appropriation of
public spaces is one of relevant characteristics; avenues and sindewalks have become a
preferred place to wait and find a job. This way, acknowledgement of the floating working
class has been proposed as a topic for discussion, so as to be catalogued as informal
workers and considered as a part of the working class universe.
