    Agricultural Survey [ag/oth]

    Abstract

The FAO has developed a monitoring system in 26 food crisis countries to better understand the impacts of various shocks on agricultural livelihoods, food security and local value chains. The Monitoring System consists of primary data collected from households on a periodic basis (more or less every four months, depending on seasonality).

The survey was conducted from 21 February to 9 March 2022 and reached 2 235 households. Data was collected through face-to-face interviews in all of the regions (Agadez, Diffa, Dosso, Maradi, Tahoua, Tillabéry et Zinder), except Niamey. They reached a total of 2 235 households (between 210 and 790 households were sampled in each region). The collection of data took place during the off-season.
