    Series Information

    This project is an impact evaluation of the parcelization program of the Philippines Comprehensive Agrarian Reform, carried out by the World Bank East Asia and Pacific Gender Innovation Lab (EAPGIL) and Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA), in collaboration with the University of Maryland and University of the Philippines Los Banos. The impact evaluation was completed in 2020, and all data is publicly available on the 3ie website, while the endline results have been published and are available online.

    Abstract

    This project is an impact evaluation of the parcelization program of the Philippines Comprehensive Agrarian Reform, carried out by the World Bank East Asia and Pacific Gender Innovation Lab (EAPGIL) and Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA), in collaboration with the University of Maryland and University of the Philippines Los Banos. Data provided here include the baseline surveys from the IE, including a main farmer survey and a spousal survey focused on decision-making.

    This version provides a full anonymized raw dataset of the spousal survey data. It has been updated to include some surveys that were not included in the original version, and the removal of some duplicate interviews.

    Sampling Procedure

    The datasets are from surveys of the households of agrarian reform beneficiaries who received collective titles from the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program. Respondents are selected from the universe of eligible beneficiaries, and include those that were established as being eligible to receive the intervention and be included in the randomization.
