Block 4: Demographic and usual activity particulars of household members: This block is meant to record the demographic particulars like sex, age, marital status, educational level for each of the member of the household. Besides, in this block usual principal activity particulars as well as usual subsidiary activity particulars of each member of the household will be collected. This will include information on activity status of the household members and industry of work and occupation for working members. The description of the items and the procedure for recording them are explained in the following paragraphs.
