    Abstract

    The study evaluates the impact of two school feeding schemes on education and health outcomes of children in Burkina Faso: school meals which provide students with lunch each school day, and take home rations which provide girls with 10 kg of cereal .our each month, conditional on 90% school attendance rate.

    Sampling

    Sampling Procedure

    After the schools were randomly assigned to treatment and control groups,we conducted a census of all households residing in the village served by each school. In each village (served by each school), we randomly sampled 48 households for the survey, making a total of 2208 households, having a total of about 4140 school age children (i.e. aged between 6 and 15), and a total of 1900 children aged between 0 and 60 months.
