For women who gave birth in the last 5 years and who received antenatal care during their most recent pregnancy, ANCTZ7_01 indicates whether, in response to an open-ended question, they reported receiving care at a private clinic. This response category is country-specific to Tanzania.

Some samples in the "ANC" series include categories that can be consolidated into a single response. IPUMS-DHS uses supplemental programming to combine these responses in a standard variable while preserving the separate responses in country-specific variables.

ANCTZ7_01 is combined with ANCTZ5_01 (private specialized hospital) and ANCTZ6_01 (private hospital) in ANCPRIVHOS_01 (all private hospitals and clinics) for the 2015 Tanzania sample.
