Definition
For children whose mothers received antenatal care, ANCTZ5 indicates whether they received care at a private specialized hospital. This response category is country-specific to Tanzania.

Some samples in the "ANC" series include categories that can be consolidated into a single response. IPUMS-DHS uses supplemental programming to combine these responses in a standard variable while preserving the separate responses in country-specific variables.

ANCTZ5 is combined with ANCTZ6 (private hospital) and ANCTZ7 (private clinic) in ANCPRIVHOS (all private hospitals and clinics) for the 2015 Tanzania sample. IPUMS-DHS users interested in using ANCTZ5 are encouraged to review ANCPRIVHOS for a more comprehensive response category.
