It has been accepted by almost every country in the world today that children have rights. There is also little disagreement about exactly what those rights are. However, the question is how are those rights being protected in practice especially in the criminal justice system? How are the provisions of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) being implemented in countries that are states-parties such as Zambia?
