impacted, in the case of the Quito canton and through this study it has been determined
that The textile manufacturing sector was greatly affected, safeguards if not handled
with caution and for a certain period of time have the risk of causing dangerous damage
to certain sectors of the national production of the importing country in this case
Ecuador, and For the case study of Quito, which is one of the centers with the highest
commercial index in our country, if we consider that the informal sector have added
figures during the last years. We must also consider that the exports and imports of this
sector have been affected by the high costs of imported raw material, generating an
increase in production costs, as a consequence the product is not competitive within the
market due to the increase in Price for the consumer.
